Auditions

The DWC Contemporary Ballet Company, in association with acclaimed choreographer and director Richard Wherlock, brings together some of the most talented young dancers from around the world. Led by Richard Wherlock, renowned for his innovative and captivating choreography, the company is dedicated to shaping the future of contemporary ballet and providing exceptional opportunities for emerging artists.

Our dancers for this season have already been selected, but if you would like to be considered for future company auditions, here’s how the process works:

• Talent Spotting:
  Members of the company’s creative team observe specific competition categories during the Dance World Cup Finals, including:
  • Junior & Senior Solo Contemporary
  • Junior & Senior Solo Ballet (non-repertoire)
  • Junior & Senior Solo Lyrical
• Golden Tickets:
  Dancers may also be invited to audition by receiving a Golden Ticket in one of the above categories during the Finals.

Selected dancers will be invited to submit a video audition. Further details, timeframes, and outcomes will be shared individually upon receipt of a personal invitation.

Successful candidates will have the chance to join a world-class young dance company and work under the guidance of one of the most respected choreographers in the industry.
