Jacqui Jameson
Jacqui has enjoyed an extensive and distinguished career across stage and screen, collaborating with some of the theatre industry’s leading figures, including choreographers Anthony Van Laast, Gwen Verdon, Gillian Lynne, and Matthew Bourne. Specialising in jazz and musical theatre, she has appeared in West End productions of Kiss Me, Kate, My Fair Lady, Chicago, Fosse, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. More recently, Jacqui has finished performing at Regents Park Theatre in A Life In Four Seasons.
Jacqui’s screen credits include Wicked, Tomorrow Morning, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Beauty and the Beast, and Beyond the Sea. Her television appearances feature The Sound of Music: Live!, Top of the Pops, the Royal Variety Performance, and Children in Need.
In addition to performing, Jacqui has choreographed Rita Hayworth: The Musical and has a boot named in her honour by LaDuca. She served as Head of Jazz at Laine Theatre Arts in London and continues to nurture emerging talent as a freelance teacher at Pineapple Studios, leading workshops across the UK and internationally. Indeed, Jacqui is thrilled to be The UK lead for Verdon / Fosse Legacy. Jacqui’s extensive experience as a performer and educator also informs her work as an adjudicator, and she is a valued member of the DWC judges’ team.
