Rachel Muldoon
Rachel Muldoon has enjoyed a distinguished and varied career as a dancer, actor, associate choreographer, choreographer, and educator for over twenty years.
She began her formal training at The Royal Ballet School, later continuing at Laine Theatre Arts.
Rachel has had an extensive career performing in London’s West End and internationally, with credits including Chicago, Wicked, Grease, Notre Dame de Paris, On The Town, Carousel, Oklahoma!, Cats, The Hurly Burly Show, Joseph, Ray, Shall We Dance, and Beatrix Potter with The Royal Ballet Company. She is currently a member of McOnie Company, performing in productions such as The Artist, Nutcracker, Jekyll and Hyde, and Making Midnight, as well as collaborating with New Adventures on British Style for the Queen’s Coronation Concert.
In the commercial world, Rachel has performed alongside leading music artists including Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Take That, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Little Mix, Pussycat Dolls, Years & Years, Jake Shears, Gary Barlow, Alexandra Burke, Laura Mvula, Laura Marling, and James Blunt.
Among her numerous television credits are Bridgerton, What’s in the Box?, the NTA’s, the BAFTAs, King Charles III Coronation Concert, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas, Humans, The X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, The Greatest Dancer, Children in Need, So You Think You Can Dance, Britain’s Got Talent, the BRIT Awards, All Star Musicals, and the Royal Variety Performance.
Her film work includes playing Kiki Dee in Rocketman, as well as appearances in Eloise, Elden Ring, Blitz, Cruella, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Mary Poppins Returns, Ready Player One, Larissa – The Lost Romanov?, Look to the Light and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
As a choreographer, Rachel has worked as an associate to Drew McOnie on projects with the McOnie Company. She has also collaborated with Adam Murray, most recently creating Mainstage for Celebrity Cruises and with Matt Flint for Strictly Come Dancing. She has also developed her own work for The London Cabaret Club and the Honourable Artillery Company and events for Incognito Artists.
Alongside her performing career, Rachel is also a dedicated educator, teaching Pilates and injury rehabilitation. She has held positions at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and London Studio Centre for many years and is passionate about helping dancers reach their full potential through a deeper understanding of their individual bodies. She regularly delivers dance workshops and masterclasses in many genres across the UK and internationally.
Rachel is delighted to be part of the DWC Finals and looks forward to drawing on her extensive experience across multiple styles in her role as a judge.
