It has been a while since our last event, and we needed this now more than ever - dancers and audiences alike.

Against all odds and despite the significant challenges we all faced during the past 18 months, Dance World Cup have once again organised an impressively successful live and video competition event for the 2020 and 2021 finals in Telford, England. The combined competitions attracted over 7200 competitors from across 40 countries.

The Telford International Centre proved to be the perfect venue for the Dance World Cup finals, where the live contestants enjoyed performing on a wonderful stage with the bonus of having a separate stage for prize giving awards to be handed out.

Telford town, was incredibly welcoming to the dancers and their supporters. With eleven enjoyable days of celebrating the art and beauty of dance, this truly reminded us of what we have all been missing from an event.

Dance World Cup would like to congratulate all dancers and teachers who worked so hard, and to the parents and family members, who showed such positive support with our live and online streaming performances. We thank you! We have received so many compliments and we are always overwhelmed by the high standard of dance in all age categories. The beautiful costumes always amaze us!

Finally, a special thank you to the incredible DWC judges, wonderful sponsors and of course our volunteer helpers, whose support is invaluable in allowing us to offer you such a high quality competition. DWC continue to deliver a world class event and we look forward to seeing you all again in Spain in 2022.
