Company Dancer 2024
Chloé Windell
Chloé’s dance journey started at the age of 4 with a teacher who had an infectious love for ballet and musical theatre, which she definitely caught. Each year the productions became more fantastical, and she simply wanted more. Contemporary and jazz was next on her journey and soon after starting these she has entered dance competitions, not knowing what lay ahead. This is where her biggest growth took place. Along the way, she has participated in summer intensives and workshops hosted by international teachers all of which have contributed to the dancer she is today. She is currently training with NU DANCE, South Africa. As a dancer she doesn’t have plenty of free time but when she does, she enjoys going on coffee dates with her friends, reading and watching movies with her six dogs. Once she has completed her AS/A levels she is planning to follow her dream of studying accounting while she keeps dancing, because that is what keeps her going. Her ambition is to be part of a dance company that offers a wide variety of dance styles and creates opportunity to be part of stage productions. She is incredibly thankful towards her amazing parents who spend hours driving and waiting at training for her. Furthermore, for their guidance, perspective and advice which has served her well over the years. Secondly, she is beyond thankful for each and every dance coach she has worked with. An attitude of gratitude to her fellow dancers that have supported and pushed her to being a better person. She is also grateful to the little kids who sit in the studio watching and then tell her how beautiful she looks when she’s dancing, because it doesn’t always feel like it looks great. Finally, she is thankful to have such an awesome younger sister.
