Solomiіa Tkachіvska is a dancer from Ukraine. A graduate of King Danylo University College majoring in "Modern Choreography" and a student at The Brighton Academy in Brighton at the moment. She has participated in many competitions and she has become World Champion many times. A significant contribution to Solomiia’s work were the television projects "So you think you can dance" where she became a finalist in the ninth season and "Dances" on the STB TV channel. Unfortunately, due to the beginning of a full-scale invasion, the project was put on hold. The filming of the semi-finals was to take place on February 24. In 2022, Solomiia becomes the first Ukrainian ambassador of the international dance organization Dance World Cup. She is very grateful to her parents, who are always believing in her and they give her endless strength. Special thanks to her beloved coaches who were and are with her day and night who only pushed her forward. She also wants to express her gratitude to The Brighton Academy where she is currently studying. And a special thank you to Dance World Cup for her unique memories and for making her dreams come true. Especially allowing her to perform a solo piece in San Sebastian at the gala where she had an opportunity to say about the difficult situation in Ukraine not simply with words but also through the language of dance that unites us all. She would also like to say a big thank you to Mandy for being her English Godmother, and also to Mr John Grimshaw for always believing in her and supporting her every day despite the distance and time difference.
