Important Dates for the 2026 Finals in Dublin, Ireland

Please find below the dates for the DWC 2026 Finals competition, which will take place at the Convention Centre Dublin (CCD) in Dublin, Ireland this summer.

The comprehensive schedule will be posted end of May 2026 for all countries.

Parade and Opening Ceremony: Date and location to be confirmed

Mini & Children Competition: Wednesday 08 July to Monday 13 July 2026

The following Mini and Children classes are scheduled to start during the first two sessions on the morning of Wednesday 08 July.

MiniSZm - Mini Solo Jazz (Boys)

MiniDT - Mini Duet/Trio Tap

MiniQB - Mini Quartet Ballet - any style

MiniGSN - Mini Small Group National and Folklore

MiniGLB - Mini Large Group Ballet - any style

MiniGLL - Mini Large Group Lyrical and Contemporary

KSC1 - Children Solo Commercial 1

KSC2 - Children Solo Commercial 2

KSCm - Children Solo Commercial (Boys)

KST - Children Solo Tap

KSTm - Children Solo Tap (Boys)

KDB - Children Duet/Trio Ballet - any style

KDN - Children Duet/Trio National and Folklore

KGSN - Children Small Group National and Folklore

KGLB - Children Large Group Ballet - any style (not classical or repertoire)

KGLL - Children Large Group Lyrical

KSPBR - Children Solo Ballet Repertoire with pointe shoes (age 12 - 13 only)

KSW1 - Children Solo Showstopper 1

KSWm - Children Solo Showstopper (Boys)

KDE - Children Duet/Trio Contemporary

KDL - Children Duet/Trio Lyrical

KDA - Children Duet/Trio Acro

KDH - Children Duet/Trio Street Dance

KGSL - Children Small Group Lyrical

KGSZ - Children Small Group Jazz

KGSV - Children Small Group Song and Dance

Grand Finals – Mini & Children: Monday 13 July 2026 – Main Theatre – Convention Centre Dublin (CCD)

Classical Grand Final – time to be confirmed.
Street & Commercial Grand Final – time to be confirmed.
Theatrical Grand Final – time to be confirmed.

The Mini and Children Grand Finals performance will take place after the Mini and Children competition. Overall awards will be chosen and presented at the Grand Finals in the main theatre at the Convention Centre Dublin (CCD). Participants selected for the Grand Final will be invited in advance. A full schedule will be provided once the Mini and Children competition concludes.

Junior & Senior Competition: Monday 13 July to Saturday 18 July 2026

Grand Finals – Junior & Senior: Saturday 18 July 2026 – Main Theatre – Convention Centre Dublin (CCD)

Classical Grand Final – time to be confirmed.
Theatrical Grand Final – time to be confirmed.
Street & Commercial Grand Final – time to be confirmed.

The Junior and Senior Grand Finals performance will take place after the Junior and Senior competition. Overall awards will be chosen and presented at the Grand Finals in the main theatre at the Convention Centre Dublin (CCD). Participants selected for the Grand Final will be invited in advance. A full schedule will be provided once the Junior and Senior competition concludes.

Please note: the street/commercial sections will be during the normal competition for 2026.
