Opening ceremony finish

Our opening ceremony will take place on 28 June 2024 starting strictly at 5:30pm and the children will parade through the streets of Prague to the final point in Wenceslas Square where the Chairman will declare the competition open.

Children will be asked to meet in their country teams at 4:30pm at Staromestske namesti (Old Town Square) ready to start walking from 5:30pm.

Please make sure the dancers wear either their team tracksuit or dance school uniform and that they bring their flags to wave.

Each country will have already chosen 1 or 2 mascots that should wear national costume, and a flag bearer.

The parade will end in Wenceslas Square, where the mascots and flag bearer will be presented on stage to the judges and the competition will be declared open.

The event should end by 8pm.
